Dr. Ahmad Alenezi is a an accomplished urological surgeon based in Kuwait, specializing in robotic and minimally invasive therapies (MIS) and men’s health. He is a board-certified and fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS(Urol) England. He has demonstrated his expertise in the field.
He completed an advanced urological training fellowship in minimally invasive and robotic surgery at premier international centers in the UK, including the Bristol Urological Institute, Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, and Wixham Park NHS Frimley Health Foundation Trust. Dr. Alenezi holds the distinction of being the first surgeon in the Middle East to obtain a prestigious certified fellowship from the European Association of Urology Robotic Urology Section (ERUS).
Dr. Alenezi received his medical degree from the esteemed Newcastle University in the United Kingdom, a top-ranking institution renowned for its world-class research and teaching excellence in the medical field. He also served as an honorary lecturer and instructor in anatomy at the University of Cambridge Medical School. Additionally, he holds a diploma in laparoscopic surgery (DLS) from the University of Strasbourg in France.

Dr. Alenezi has numerous publications in the fields of urology and education and is actively involved in ongoing research projects. His work has been presented at international conferences, and he serves on the editorial board and as a reviewer for several esteemed international journals. He has previously received a prestigious research grant from the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
He previously held the position of director of research and educational training and was a member of the examination committee for the urology residency program in Kuwait. Dr. Alenezi was instrumental in the initial phase of the accreditation process for the newly established urology residency program in Kuwait, making a significant contribution to its development.
In 2018, Dr. Alenezi was honored with the prestigious “Best Achieving Urologist” award in Kuwait by the Kuwait Urological Association (KUA) with endorsement from the State of Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
In 2019, Dr. Ahmad Alenezi brought an innovative medical breakthrough to the Middle East, introducing REZUM water vapor therapy for benign prostate enlargement (BPE). He has since been at the forefront of this procedure. He has spearheaded its use popularizing it across the region.
As testament to his expertise, Dr. Alenezi has performed Rezum procedure on high volume of patients, consistently achieving remarkable outcomes. His proficiency in this area has earned him recognition as an internationally acclaimed REZUM expert.
As a proud associate member of both the Harvard Medical School and Harvard University Alumni Associations, Dr. Alenezi successfully completed a degree program and was awarded a certificate of completion in Surgical Leadership (SLP). This esteemed program drew from the best practices across Harvard Medical School and its major teaching hospitals, as well as Harvard Business School, Harvard T.H.
